All J&K Shia Association Organizes Free Medical Camp in Kashmir

In a significant step towards community welfare, the All Jammu & Kashmir Shia Association (AJKSA), under the leadership of Molvi Imran Raza Ansari, organized a free diagnostic medical camp at Imam Bargah Zadibal in collaboration with MedGenome Diagnostic Laboratory.

The initiative was held in the spirit of Imam Hussain (A.S), whose enduring legacy of sacrifice, compassion, and service continues to inspire efforts for the welfare of humanity. The camp aimed to offer essential diagnostic services to the local population, embodying the Islamic principle of service to humanity.

Prominent members of AJKSA, including District President Srinagar Haji Firdaus Mirza and Secretary Yaseen Mustafa, were present at the event and supervised the camp arrangements. They extended heartfelt appreciation to the MedGenome team, especially Manager Khadim Ali, and acknowledged the support of local volunteers whose dedicated coordination ensured the camp’s success.

As a result of this collaboration, a technical understanding has now been established between AJKSA and MedGenome. Under this agreement, verified economically disadvantaged patients will be eligible for free diagnostic testing, following approval from the AJKSA office at Darul Jawad, Qamarwari. This support system will continue in the coming months, providing crucial healthcare access to those most in need.

This health camp is part of AJKSA’s broader humanitarian outreach, which also includes:

  • Free eye check-ups and distribution of eyeglasses
  • Free general medical consultations
  • Distribution of school books and educational resources
  • Free clothing drives for the underprivileged

Through these efforts, AJKSA continues to uphold the values of Imam Ali (A.S), Imam Hussain (A.S), and the Ahlul Bayt (A.S), working to serve communities with compassion, dignity, and justice. Similar outreach programs are planned in various districts across Kashmir, reaffirming AJKSA’s commitment to inclusive and accessible public service.
